What You Will Do

Disney’s DTC Content Partnerships Team is seeking an outstanding Senior Content Strategy Analyst to join our team. In this role, you will report into the DTC Content Partnerships Strategy Team and serve as a key contributor to strategic, operational, and analytical initiatives across the Content Partnerships organization.

You will provide data-driven insights and operational support that inform key business decisions and develop recommendations to help shape DTC’s global content acquisition strategy. The role requires blending rigorous quantitative analysis with a strong subjective filter to create meaningful insights at a breakneck pace. The ideal candidate is a highly motivated self-starter with exceptional analytical skills, a passion for operational excellence, a deep love of content, and a proven ability to drive business value and decision making through analytics.

Responsibilities

  • Analyze and monitor content performance across Hulu and Disney+ globally, synthesizing metrics into actionable insights that inform content acquisition strategy and programming recommendations

  • Gather and synthesize information from internal and external sources, producing decks, memos, and presentations for business leaders and cross-functional partners to make informed decisions related to content strategy

  • Support the development and execution of DTC’s content acquisition strategy by partnering with Content Acquisition Leads to evaluate and prioritize content opportunities

  • Analyze usage metrics and viewer behaviors driving content consumption, informing deal-related decision-making at both global and regional levels, including market-specific strategies and competitive trend tracking across genres and content types

  • Develop and improve operational processes and best practices to increase team efficiency and ensure alignment with key business priorities, including the use of automation and AI tools where applicable

  • Collaborate closely with teams across Data Analytics, Marketing, Product, PR, Distribution, Finance, Legal, Operations, and other Disney Entertainment functions to represent the content perspective and drive cross-functional initiatives

  • Conduct research to support competitive intelligence and build deep industry expertise

  • Execute long-term and ad hoc projects related to DTC’s content portfolio in support of the Content Acquisition team, internal studio partners, and executive leadership
     

Required Qualifications & Skills

  • 3+ years of relevant professional experience, with prior experience in consulting, investment banking, strategy, or similarly fast-paced, analytical direct-to-consumer roles

  • Expert proficiency in Google Suite (Sheets, Slides) and Microsoft Office (Excel)

  • Exceptional attention to detail with advanced spreadsheet modeling, analysis, and presentation-building and data visualization skills

  • Strong experience using analytics to inform business decision-making, with the ability to translate business questions into analytical approaches

  • Passion for entertainment, television, and technology, with a deep understanding of the evolving streaming landscape and major industry players

  • Excellent relationship management and collaboration skills, with a demonstrated ability to work effectively across teams and functions

  • Comfort with and/or interest in leveraging AI tools, agents, and automation

  • Highly motivated and results-oriented, with strong prioritization, project management, and execution skills in deadline-driven environments

  • Outstanding written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to tailor messaging for both technical and non-technical audiences and confidently present to leaders and external stakeholders

  • Experience operationalizing analytics and insights into repeatable business processes

The hiring range for this position in Santa Monica, California is $106,900.00 - $143,300.000 per year. The base pay actually offered will take into account internal equity and also may vary depending on the candidate’s geographic region, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience among other factors. A bonus and/or long-term incentive units may be provided as part of the compensation package, in addition to the full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits, dependent on the level and position offered.
