Job Summary:
As a Senior Manager Partner Strategy & Project Management, you will be at the forefront of shaping and executing strategies that drive our business forward. In this pivotal role, you will lead a diverse range of projects, from conducting insightful business reviews with BPO partners to spearheading site development initiatives. Your strategic acumen will be key in developing long-term vendor management strategies that align with our company's overarching goals. With a focus on collaboration, cost coordination, and continuous improvement, you will work closely with internal teams and BPO partners to optimize operations and deliver exceptional results. What You'll Do:
- Monthly Business Reviews: Conduct regular business reviews with BPO partners to assess performance, evaluate contract compliance, and ensure alignment with strategic goals.
- Site Development and Deprecation: Lead the planning and execution of new site development and deprecation projects, ensuring seamless transitions and minimal disruption to operations.
- Project Management: Manage a portfolio of strategic projects related to vendor management, from planning through execution, ensuring projects are delivered on time, within scope, and within budget.
- Strategy Development: Develop partner strategy recommendations and business insights for executive leadership. Developing long-term strategies for vendor management that align with the company's goals and implement strategies to optimize vendor performance, improve service delivery, and reduce costs, aligning with overall business objectives.
- Cost Coordination: Coordinate with Service Delivery and Support Services Managers to model costs and assess financial impact when changes are contemplated.
- Feedback Collection and Collaboration: Collect needs and feedback from BPO partners to create a 360-degree feedback loop, providing actionable insights for continuous improvement and ensuring alignment with business objectives.
- Partner with support teams to develop hypotheses on optimizing BPO operations.
- Recommends technology solutions and process changes working with local teams and BPOs on all major implementations.
- Turn ambiguous information into insights and recommendations in a rapid growth environment
- Stakeholder Collaboration: Collaborate with internal teams, including Procurement, Legal, Finance, and Operations, to ensure cohesive vendor strategies and effective communication.
- Team Leadership: Lead, mentor, and develop a team of VMO support professionals, promoting a culture of high performance, accountability, and continuous learning.
What You'll Need:
- Bachelor’s degree in business administration, Finance, Management, or a related field; an advanced degree (e.g., MBA) is a plus.
- 8+ years of experience in strategic planning, project management, and/or vendor management; with at least 3 years in a leadership capacity.
- Proven experience in managing complex vendor relationships, contract negotiations, and cost management.
- Strong knowledge of vendor management best practices, contract management, and financial compliance.
- Communication Skills: Exceptional abilities in communication, negotiation, and interpersonal relations are crucial. Ability to clearly and regularly communicate to senior executives on strategies, goals, and status
- Analytical Prowess: Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities, with an emphasis on informed data-driven decision-making.
- Excellent leadership, communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
Nice-To-Haves:
- Familiarity with project management frameworks (e.g., PMP, Agile) and related tools is preferred.
The hiring range for this position in Los Angeles, CA is $124,900 to $167,600 per year, and $118,900 - $159,900 in San Antonio, TX. The base pay actually offered will take into account internal equity and also may vary depending on the candidate’s geographic region, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience among other factors. A bonus and/or long-term incentive units may be provided as part of the compensation package, in addition to the full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits, dependent on the level and position offered.
