About The Role
We are searching for an experienced Technical Program Manager to join our new Data Intelligence and Analytics (DnA) TPM org who will be responsible for helping drive business-critical initiatives across DnA. This role requires acute attention to detail, a strong sense of accountability, collaboration, technical understanding and experience managing cross workstream technology initiatives. In this role, you will directly contribute to the success of our Analytics team by holding regular planning sessions, stakeholders management, communications and status reporting, outlining strategic project deliverables and coordinating directly with Product, Engineering, and Analytics leaders across DTC (Streaming Direct to Consumer).
At DTC, data is central to measuring all aspects of the business and critical to its operations and growth. DnA works closely with Business Operations, Data Engineering, Data Solutions, Product, and Partner Operations to drive tools and optimizations across the business. The Technical Program Manager will function as the interface between Data, Product, Operations, and Engineering teams; participating in coordination, alignment, road mapping and overall seamless delivery of best-in-class consumer applications.
Responsibilities
Maintain alignment on DnA wide communication strategy for intra-team communication, partner and stakeholder comms and executive updates, by being responsible for Team Wiki/Confluence page hygiene and maintenance
Helping DnA vertical teams adopt Project Management best practices: e.g., utilizing a unified project management tool, business models and processes with stakeholders and across DnA teams; automation and efficiency improvements
Ensuring DnA are providing their inputs and delivering their outputs on top priority DTC ongoing projects (e.g., launches, price rises)
Able and comfortable to work across partners and stakeholders from technical and engineering teams to business executives
Takes initiative and a proactive approach at finding ways to remove barriers to move a project forward
Accurately forecasting risks and mitigating exposure to accomplishing projects
Develop strong partnerships with engineering, product management and analytics leaders to drive focus on strategic and tactical program objectives
Build strategic relationships with key technology and business leaders to ensure program success
With an international manager and clients, working outside of standard business hours may be necessary
Maintain and prioritize DnA Engineering requests, understanding technical concepts to effectively communicate with Engineering and address blockers or constraints
Manage cross-vertical projects, assess risks, and identify the right resources by understanding team activities and solving analytical problems
Convert business requirements alongside DnA verticals into high-level technical specifications and identify key contributors by understanding technical concepts and the domain
Stay informed on upstream product changes and assess their impact on downstream data, requiring a deep understanding of data
Basic Qualifications
3+ years of experience as a Technical Program Manager, Project Manager or Scrum Master for a technology team
Background in Data Analytics, or history of working within an Analytics team preferred
Good skills and knowledge of servant leadership, facilitation, situational awareness, conflict resolution, continual improvement, empowerment, and increasing transparency
Experience with large-scale organizational change efforts
Experience building broad, large-scale communications plans
Sense of humor and self-awareness (good understanding of your knowledge/limits)
Love for data and taking turning chaos into something actionable
High sense of ownership and a focus on building fast with awareness of limitations
Good understanding of ETL processing, Data Warehousing, familiarity with BI Visualization tools such as Looker and Tableau
Working knowledge of modern program management, analysis, and reporting tools such as Jira/Confluence, Airtable and MS Office
Knowledge of SDLC, data analytics ecosystem
Required Education
Bachelor’s degree in related field

The hiring range for this position in Santa Monica, CA is $126,400 to $169,500 per year. The base pay actually offered will take into account internal equity and also may vary depending on the candidate's geographic region, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience among other factors. A bonus and/or long-term incentive units may be provided as part of the compensation package, in addition to the full range of medical, financial and/or other benefits, dependent on the level and position offered.
