How will you contribute to our magical experience?
As a Coordinator of Content Operations at The Walt Disney Company, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the smooth and efficient operation of our content workflow. You will collaborate closely with crossfunctional teams, including content acquisition, production, and distribution, to help manage the endtoend content lifecycle. This is a multifaceted role that requires strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and a passion for the entertainment industry.
The Coordinator, Content Operations will be responsible for:
- Content Ingestion and Metadata Management: Coordinate the ingestion of new content into our systems, ensuring accurate metadata entry and adherence to content guidelines.
- Quality Control (QC): Perform rigorous quality control checks on incoming content to identify and resolve any issues related to audio, video, subtitles, or metadata.
- Content Delivery: Manage the delivery of content to various distribution platforms, including streaming services, broadcasters, and digital outlets.
- Content Reporting: Generate and maintain reports related to content usage, rights, and performance metrics.
- Rights Management: Assist in rights management, ensuring compliance with licensing agreements and copyright regulations.
- Content Localization: Collaborate with localization teams for dubbing and subtitling requirements, ensuring content is prepared for international audiences.
- Content Archiving: Implement and maintain content archiving strategies to preserve assets for long term use.
- Issue Resolution: Act as a point of contact for content related issues, troubleshoot problems, and collaborate with relevant teams to find solutions.
What we need from you to be part of this story:
- Bachelor's degree in a related field (Media Studies, Film, Communications, etc.) or equivalent work experience.
- Strong organizational skills with meticulous attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency in content management systems and digital asset management tools.
- Knowledge of the entertainment industry, streaming platforms, and digital media trends.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast paced environment.
- Prior experience in content operations or a related role is a plus.
