Disney+ is one of the leading premium video streaming services in the world. It is the dedicated home for streaming movies and shows from Disney, Pixar, Marvel, Star Wars, National Geographic, and more. The Growth Marketing team in Korea is tasked with driving Disney+ subscriber growth, engagement, and

retention for the market, in close partnership with the regional and global teams. The team also works in close alignment with other local teams and lines of business to align Disney+ acquisition and

lifecycle marketing plans with company priorities.

Job Summary:

  • The Associate Manager, Growth Marketing will report to the Director, Growth Marketing and will be responsible for planning and executing performance marketing campaigns for the Korean market.

  • To succeed in this role, you should be a strong team player who will contribute to an environment that embraces innovation in Growth Marketing, who is experienced in delivering world class work, and always looking to improve and evolve digital marketing processes.

 Responsibilities:

  • Marketing Planning & Execution

    • Drive local performance marketing planning and creative development.

    • Produce and deliver creative briefs and marketing assets by collaborating with stakeholders, including creative design and paid media teams.

    • Update the Growth Marketing campaign calendar.

    • Ensure positive and effective working relationships with all local and global team members, accepting individual responsibility for assigned deliverables and upholding high standards of quality and timeliness.

  • Channel Support:

    • Drive the execution of initiatives across growth marketing channels as needed. (e.g. CTV, App Store, Landing Pages)

  • Reporting:

    • Assist in preparation of reports and presentations, as required and directed.

    • Use data and reports to guide evidence-based decisions, supported by best-practice and latest technology.

  • Team Collaboration:

    • Work collaboratively within a cross-functional local team, including Integrated Marketing, Programming, Content, Partnerships, Legal and Creative, while liaising and aligning with global teams, to provide effective coordination and logistics around creative requests.

    • Be a champion of best-in-class brand aligned campaign creative, keeping an eye on creative trends & competitor activity.

  • Strong people skills and experience in collaborating with stakeholders (locally and internationally) and ensuring alignment of expectations.

Desired Qualifications:

  • 6+ years experience in related marketing roles

  • Native level fluency in Korean and business level English

  • Knowledge of various digital media and programmatic platforms

  • Outcome-focused, and confident in making decisions without necessarily having all the information.

  • Teamwork and Time-Management: Proven ability to work effectively in a team environment, working at pace, with multiple stakeholders (local and international), managing multiple priorities and deadlines.
