Job Summary
Disney+ is one of the leading premium video streaming services in the world. It is the dedicated home for streaming movies and shows from Disney, Pixar, Marvel, Star Wars, National Geographic, and more. It is available on most internet-connected devices and offers a variety of original feature-length films, documentaries, live-action and animated series and short-form content. Alongside unprecedented access to Disney’s incredible library of film and television entertainment, the service is also the exclusive streaming home for the latest releases from The Walt Disney Studios.
Our Disney+ team is responsible for the launch and day to day operation of the service across APAC, specifically focused on customer acquisition and retention, marketing, partnerships, content programming, research and analytics.
This Associate Marketing Creative Manager, APAC Marketing position is responsible for developing creatives for brand and content marketing campaigns, collaborating closely with local marketing and creative teams across the region. This role will report into the Executive Director of Integrated Marketing for APAC.
Responsibilities:
- Create and design creative assets (static, video) for local contents and marketing brand campaigns using the appropriate editing software
- Briefs and creatively directs campaign assets for print, AV, and product/platform needs for local contents and brand campaigns. Understands creative trends and ensures that all D+ and/or bundle marketing efforts feel premium, engaging, and appropriate for the D+ and/or bundle audience.
- Conceive, create, and prepare presentations to share ideas and concepts to management and partners across brands and stakeholders at TWDC.
- Understand the creative needs of each APAC country and oversee the production processes of Static and AV for marketing campaigns in each APAC country. Work closely with the representatives of each country to execute plans and ensure that deliverables and assets are provided on time.
- Manage relationships and projects with creative agencies to execute creative deliverables.
- Work closely and collaboratively in a matrixed work environment with project management, strategy, content, product and operations across Disney+ and across TWDC to ensure creative alignment and successful delivery of assets and creative materials.
- Navigate through multiple business-focused partner departments (legal, business affairs, finance, brand management) to deliver creative results that meet business needs and requirements.
Qualifications:
- 6+ years’ extensive experience marketing entertainment properties.
- Bachelor’s degree. Preferably a degree in Media, Marketing, Advertising, Communications, Cinema/Television or related field.
- Proficient in Adobe Creative Suite such Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign
- Proficient in video editing software such as Adobe Premier Pro, Final Cut Pro
- Experience at either a studio, network, or media environment with an extensive knowledge of the layers and processes behind creative marketing.
- Ability to recognize high-quality creative and understand how to make it better.
- Possesses strong creative point of view and aesthetic to ensure that Disney+ marketing materials are produced at a higher quality.
- Experience with key art creative conception, AV asset creative and advertising production.
- Demonstrate ability to prioritize, meet deadlines, make decisions and change course of action quickly.
- Experience working across multiple mediums – print, AV, digital and outdoor.
- Keen eye for Visual Art materials, and ability to direct development of poster, static creative.
- Fluency in written and spoken English and Korean.
- Excellent interpersonal skills to ensure successful interactions, strong working relationships and the ability to interface with different levels of management, peers and partners across various teams.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with streaming platform marketing – how a DTC product works, and how to make effective marketing materials to drive engagement and subscriber growth
