The Growth Marketing team is tasked with driving new subscriber growth. The team is responsible for the planning, execution and optimization of user acquisition and performance marketing campaigns. The ideal candidate has a passion for the digital media landscape and understands the intricacies and unique attributes of every step in the marketing funnel. The successful candidate will bring a highly analytical, creative, and flexible growth mindset to the role, which will be critical to delivering breakthrough thinking for this channel.
The Coordinator, Paid Media will be working on the global Disney+ Growth Marketing team, supporting the Japan market. This position will work with teammates locally and cross-countries to drive subscriber acquisition, utilizing programmatic and paid social strategies.
Responsibilities:
· Assist in applying digital advertising (programmatic display and social) strategies to acquire Disney+ subscribers efficiently
· Assist with budget updates, media ad trafficking, reporting, and additional deliverables requested for larger strategic projects
· Gain knowledge in global and local advertising platforms to help execute and manage campaigns
· Support team in evaluating publishers and use media research tools and resources to create strong media plan
recommendations
· Maintain team, channel, and campaign documentation i.e. take notes, compiles recaps etc.
· Track partner performance daily to ensure campaign effectiveness, working with the team to hold partners accountable for achieving KPIs
· Assist in compiling updates on partner capabilities
· Identify and resolve any issues with ad tracking or creative units
· Monitor trends, tools, opportunities and applications in both the digital media ecosystem and in the streaming industry, and apply knowledge accordingly
· Collaborate with larger Global Paid Media team to align on performance trends to ensure holistic team success
· Potentially support additional Global tasks as needed
Requirements:
· English & Korean language proficiency
· Digital Media Marketing internship experience preferred
· Ideal candidate will have some experience with direct response campaigns
· Skilled in all Microsoft Office Products, specifically Excel
· Hands on experience with programmatic and paid social platforms a plus (i.e. DV360, CM360, Yahoo!, Meta, TikTok, etc.)
· Basic understanding of mobile app tracking solutions and third-party ad verification partners a plus (i.e. Kochava, Integral Ad Science, etc)
· Ability to manage time and workload and has flexibility to work across different projects and vendors
· A strong communicator with a can-do, positive attitude and a strong desire to get things done
· Sense of humor and desire to have fun!
