The Standards & Practices (S&P) Specialist role is to ensure high quality censorship/review of content for the Digital platform, review all local marketing and promotion material in the region and other content for Disney OTT Service, and review scripts of local productions and timely escalations of critical content observations. This role will report to the Head of S&P and S&P Assistant Manager.

Responsibilities:

  • Perform high quality censorship and review of shows/ content/movies.
  • Maintain S&P Reports for all reviewed content.
  • Handle enquiries & provide information to other departments regarding the show’s content and ratings.
  • Monitor changes in censorship guidelines across Korea region.
  • Review commercials / advertisements on the OTT service.
  • Complete review of content and share details with the team members for issues identified for other markets.
  • Report content issues to senior team members and escalate.

Requirements:

  • Diploma with a minimum of 2 years’ experience in S&P, or Media industry
  • Organized, Meticulous, and has an eye for detail.
  • Matured in thinking and is sensitive to issues regarding censorship.
  • Self-motivated individual should be able to perform within tight deadlines.
  • Experience in the TV industry and/or editing and censorship of show is an added advantage.
  • Consumption of content should be high (Digital/OTT, TV & Films)
  • Pleasant personality and excellent communication skills
  • Understanding of local language is a must – Korean.
  • Knowledge of local language, customs and traditions
  • English language communication is a must.
