Job Summary:

The Disney Cruise Line (DCL) Finance Team is responsible for supporting and managing all aspects of the financial, planning and analysis and business decision support for DCL.  DCL is a fast paced, dynamic business that is part of Disney Signature Experiences, an entrepreneurial growth engine for the DPEP segment.  

The Senior Manager of Finance role supporting Disney Cruise Line will provide leadership and finance support for operations and DCL expansion into the Singapore market.  The leader will provide the day-to-day operations finance support, while partnering closely with the DCL finance team based in Celebration Florida as it relates to the monthly planning, forecasting, and business analysis.  This position plays a critical leadership role in market and will work closely with the VP and Regional GM, DCL in Singapore to develop Project Adventure’s Long-Term and Annual Operating Plans and monthly forecasts.  This role will provide operational finance support, as well as research accounting, tax and regulatory impacts with the applicable subject matter experts.  This position is also responsible for crafting and delivering presentations to Sr. Executives. 

This position will be located in Singapore, reporting to the Director of Finance, DCL in Celebration, and will lead 1 to 2 direct reports.

Responsibilities

  • The Senior Manager of Finance will be responsible for developing relationships with key partners, overseeing forecasts and complex business plans, providing day-to-day leadership to team members, as well as the management of other ad hoc projects.
  • This role will be the primary finance support for the VP and Regional GM, DCL in Singapore and work on a variety of different projects to support all aspects of the local operation.   
  • In addition, they will lead the preparation of capital authorization requests, work with business owners to develop the appropriate business case and assess financial and nonfinancial impacts on the broader business, and review pro forma models and project economics to inform strategic long term decisions.
  • The Senior Manager will partner with key stakeholders from multiple areas and disciplines to deliver exceptional finance support to the business.

Required Qualifications

  • 7+ years of financial and business development/pro forma experience
  • Demonstrated proficiency in quantitative analysis and financial modeling
  • Ability to meet deadlines, handle multiple priorities and perform job responsibilities accurately while working in a fast-paced and vibrant environment
  • Demonstrated analytical and strategic thinking skills
  • Natural curiosity to ask questions and form independent points of view
  • Strong written and verbal communications skills
  • Strong interpersonal skills and teamwork/partnering ability
  • Demonstrated business savvy with a strong understanding of the external market, economic, and competitive forces
  • Ability to lead and coach Cast on day to day responsibilities and action items
  • Previous experience in Financial Planning & Analysis; with the ability to lead traditional finance processes (LTP, AOP, Forecast, etc.)
  • Ability to simplify complex issues and incorporates effective “storytelling” to engage and influence the audience at the executive level
  • Demonstrated ability to deliver presentations and communication to audiences of all levels persuasively, articulately and with full command of the topic
  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or equivalent

Preferred Qualifications:

  • 7+ years of proven track record of positive leadership skills with an ability to inspire the team, quickly adapting leadership style to meet the needs of the business and environment
  • Experience working in the TWDC finance organization and familiarity with SAP
  • MBA or equivalent
  • Knowledge of DPEP financial planning processes
