Job Summary:

Disney Entertainment brings together the Disney’s best-in-class product, technology, and commercialization teams together into one global organization. Disney Entertainment is responsible for the P&L management and all distribution, network and engineering operations, sales, advertising, data, and certain key technology functions worldwide for the Company’s content engines. Disney Entertainment also manages operations of the Company’s streaming services including Disney+, Hulu, ESPN+ and Disney+ Hotstar; and domestic broadcast and cable television networks.

Disney+ Hotstar is The Walt Disney Company’s video entertainment service that consist of long form and short form content built around six key brands (Disney, PIXAR, Marvel, Star Wars, National Geographic and Star) with an appealing and easy to use interface accessed across multiple platforms (e.g., televisions, mobile devices, PCs).  

TAM (Technical Account Management) and PMO (Program Management Office) plays a key role in helping Disney+ Hotstar to scale the business by integrating Disney+ Hotstar platform with service providers and other strategic partners across Southeast Asia region., This role is also responsible for coordinating with the teams in the tracking, reporting of project progress, as well as involvement in other core PMO activities (e.g. facilitate cross-functional meetings, risk and issue identification and resolution, etc.).
 
The role requires a highly motivated individual who works comfortably and autonomously in a fast-paced environment. He/she is also required to demonstrate ability to manage priorities and projects and possess the strong mix of organizational and communication skills. This role also require some technical expertise to ensure successful product and partner integrations through collaboration with internal and external stakeholders. 

RESPONSIBILITIES  

  • Provide project management guidance to the cross-functional teams
  • Facilitate cross-functional discussions across Disney+ Hotstar stakeholders and team members to identify critical business blockers and collaborate with them to solve
  • Guide the functional teams in the preparation of presentation decks for project or cross-functional forums
  • Assist to coordinate key meetings with various stakeholders to ensure meeting objectives are met and follow ups actions executed by identified parties
  • Coordinate program/project team engagement and communication, ensuring effective timing and interdependency management of communications
  • Provide guidance on program/project processes, standards, procedures and tools
  • Coordinate with the team to provide access and configuration of project collaboration tools (e.g. OTT application, Google suite, Slack, Jira, Smartsheet, Airtable) for team members
  • Provide technical expertise to ensure successful product and partner integrations through collaboration with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Prepare and validate BRDs (Business Requirement Documents) for strategic initiatives.
  • Collaborate and closely work with the internal and external stakeholders to launch successful projects in timely manner  
  • Track progress of product requests and provide management updates 
  • Identify and execute upon new opportunities to improve the commercial aspects of our partnerships

QUALIFICATIONS  

  • A Bachelor’s Degree in the relevant field
  • At least 3+ years of relevant experience in working with with proven track record in PMO execution and project management and/or product or technical role
  • Strong cross-functional and project management skills
  • Experience organising and facilitating meetings that involve mid-level/senior management
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Entrepreneurial drive and demonstrated ability to achieve goals in an innovative and fast-paced environment
  • Understanding of media, content, telco, payment landscape  in Southeast Asia is a plus
  • PMP and/or Prince2 certifications are a plus 
  • Excellent problem-solving, organisational and analytical skills
  • Trusted and inclusive builder of relationships across diverse sets of teams
  • Digitally savvy
  • Strong process orientation; solid understanding of project management techniques, methodologies and best practices.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Curious, analytical mindset with the ability to apply data and insights to drive outcomes
  • Results-oriented
