Job Summary:

About the Role & Team

We are looking for an Acquisition Executive on a fixed-term employment contract for approximately one year who will join our Acquisitions team to secure content needs, acquisition of content, administration of license deals.

This role will require you to be working 4 days a week in our Sofia office and 1 day from home.

What You Will Do

•  Lead negotiations of acquisition deals in line with TWDC policies and approved workflows, incl.:

-  Request for availabilities;

-  Preparation of proposals;

-  Coordination of negotiations and paperwork with Affiliate Sales, Legal, Finance, Technical Operations, Global Acquisition and other TWDC Balkans departments, as required.

•  Administration of acquisition process in line with TWDC policies and approved workflows and Acquisition Contracts management:

-  Follow up on signature process and paperwork;

-  Acquisition information management, incl. but not limited to registering acquired content and related rights into OnRights, Peoplesoft and Program Rights Master File;

-  Correspondence with financial departments of Licensors for invoice verification, tax certificates procedures and payments;

-  Correspondence with Licensors’ technical teams on additional platforms/services approvals and report requests.

•  Support in program selection:

-  Initial screening of programs;

-  Researching programs based on market development and TWDC Balkans content and scheduling strategy.

•  Post-acquisition analysis:

-  Collaborate with Programming Team and Programming Director to evaluate the R.O.I of the content.

•  Keep Programming team updated on new content and production trends of Studious.

•  Facilitate communication between company departments and Licensors.

•  Ad-hoc job-related duties and reports when required.

Required Qualifications & Skills

  • Fluent English, native Bulgarian.

  • 2+ years of experience in a media-related company.

  • 1+ years of experience with international company.

  • Excellent communication, negotiation and analytical skills.

  • Excellent attention to detail and time-management skills.

  • Flexible-results orientation; commercially minded.

  • Strong team player; collaborative attitude.

  • Practical approach to problem solving.

  • Microsoft Office skills (intermediate to advanced Excel, Word, PowerPoint).

  • Experience on a similar or programming position is an advantage.

  • Exposure to having worked across international territories would be a distinct advantage.
