About the Role & Team
We are looking for a Scheduler to join our Balkans team based in Sofia on a fixed-term employment contract as a maternity cover for an approximate period of 12 months.
This role will require you to be working 4 days a week in our Sofia office and 1 day from home.
What You Will Do
Produce detailed and accurate competitive presentation schedules (Playlists) for assigned Channels on a daily, weekly and monthly basis within team;
Prepare schedules, making sure all promotions reflect media plan and secondary events, opt-out cues and any other transmission instructions are accurately added;
Ensure schedules are 100% correct before sending to transmission;
Maintain a creative level of presentation elements across all feeds in line with branding;
Feed into campaign briefing process, representing presentation strategies and needs;
Schedule cross promotions and their placements within the schedules where possible, including opt-outs;
Review continuity elements to make sure all throws and information are relevant to schedule and promotional priorities clearly communicated;
Track delivery of promotional inventory to ensure all is delivered on time for transmission;
Monitor competitive channels’ promos to stay ahead of the market place;
Check all promos are accurate for air with the relevant systems updated and approved;
Liaise with transmission on any last-minute changes or errors that may occur and adjust schedules accordingly;
Send schedules for transmission and other relevant departments on time;
Collaborate with programming teams to increase best practices and knowledge and provide cover across channel schedules as and when required.
Required Qualifications & Skills
Proficient Bulgarian & English.
Great teammate; collaborative attitude.
Previous experience in Media Industry or Data Entry would be an advantage.
Possess excellent interpersonal skills.
Excellent attention to detail and time-management skills.
Results orientation; commercially minded.
Be committed to ongoing learning and have ability to drive innovation and creativity.
Practical approach to problem solving; track record of demonstrating initiative.
Strong cultural awareness and flexibility.
Microsoft Office skills (intermediate to advanced Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
Preferred Qualifications
Experience on a similar position.
Experience with international firm.
Exposure to having worked across international territories would be a distinct advantage.
