How will you contribute to our magical experience?
The Supervisor, Marketing Sports will play a key role in shaping and executing the sports marketing strategy in Mexico, driving brand awareness and positioning through a compelling value proposition anchored in ESPN.
This role will oversee budget management, strategic planning, and asset optimization, while ensuring strong cross-functional coordination with executional teams to deliver impactful, best-in-class campaigns.
The Supervisor, Marketing Sports will be responsible for:
- Lead the development of marketing materials in collaboration with agencies and internal creative teams, ensuring consistency with brand guidelines and campaign objectives.
- Develop comprehensive briefs for tentpole sports events and brand campaigns, aligning with creative, PR, special event, digital and production teams to ensure flawless execution, tracking, and post-campaign reporting.
- Oversee planning and execution of synergy initiatives managing deliverables, timelines, and cross-platform integrations.
- Coordinate influencer marketing campaigns in Mexico to drive awareness, engagement, and cultural relevance around key sports properties.
- Act as a key liaison between ESPN teams and Disney ecosystem ensuring alignment with broader business priorities and platform needs.
- Develop marketing presentations and performance reports, translating data into actionable insights and optimization opportunities.
- Own end-to-end coordination of campaigns in Mexico, working closely with cross functional teams such as: Digital, Business Intelligence, Media, Production, Creative, etc.
- Manage Linear and DTC sports marketing budgets, ensuring efficient allocation across media and non-media investments, with strict quarterly tracking and control.
- Supervise financial and administrative processes, including vendor management, contracts, invoice tracking, ensuring compliance and timely execution.
What we need from you to be part of this story:
- 4+ years of experience in marketing, with a strong focus on sports, entertainment, or media industries.
- Degree in Marketing (preferred) or related careers.
- Advanced level in English
- Proven track record in leading integrated marketing strategies and 360° campaigns across both Linear and DTC/streaming environments
- Strong knowledge of the sports industry is essential, including different leagues, disciplines, and fan engagement dynamics.
- Strong communication and presentation skills, able to explain complex findings clearly to internal teams, agencies and clients.
- Highly organized, detail‑oriented and execution‑focused, with the ability to manage multiple projects in parallel.
- Solid understanding of the local media and advertising environment.
- Flexible and able to work in a dynamic environment.
- Resilient and capable of working with short deadlines.
- Social media and sports heavy user/consumer.
