Position Summary
This role is considered Hybrid, which means the employee will work 2-3 days onsite at a Company designated location and occasionally from home.
We are looking for a great teammate to join our Public Relations team. This position requires a working knowledge and understanding of the online space. Equally as important, the successful candidate has the drive and desire to push the boundaries of digital theatrical & streaming title marketing. This role reports to the Director of PR & Communications and will support all ILM and Skywalker Sound social media accounts. Additionally, this role will work closely with our Sr. Publicist and cross-functionally with our client’s social media teams to ensure strategy, message, and materials are represented online in the most impactful way possible.

What You'll Do
Supports all ILM & Skywalker Sound social media channels and websites, including but not limited to:
Implements social campaigns, various projects and social media pages. Work to maintain a consistent brand voice across platforms
Handles the creation of digital materials; Maintains digital content calendars, social footprints, and campaign timelines
Supports quality control of social pages and verifies that information is accurate and up to date on all ILM sites and social pages (website, awards sites, FB, IG, X, TH, LinkedIn, etc.)
Supports the execution of onsite digital and social activities at Vancouver studio events
Supports tracking of performance metrics to include social insights, Twitter and Threads activity reports, trailer launch snapshots, festival reactions, etc.
Autonomously writes social copy, video titles, and additional consumer-facing digital written materials as needed
Assists in the preparation of documents and materials for internal meetings
What We're Looking For
2+ years of digital marketing experience on either agency or client-side
Solid understanding of functions of digital platforms (FB, X, IG, YouTube, TikTok, etc.) and analytics
Solid Understanding of Adobe Creative Suite, especially Photoshop; Proficient in Word/Excel
Video editing experience (DaVinci Resolve, Premiere, etc.) preferred, but not required
An excellent communicator, comfortable collaborating with all levels internally and externally; Highly organized, with the ability to efficiently handle many projects and tasks simultaneously
Understands how to be adaptable and proactive - a self-starter who thrives in a fast-paced environment; Hardworking and curious about all aspects of digital entertainment marketing, theatrical releases, home entertainment launches, streaming content, and award season FYC
Thorough and meticulous in writing copy, fan engagement, etc

The hiring range for this position in Vancouver is C$49,200 to C$59,100 per year based on a 40-hour work week. The amount of hours scheduled per week may vary based on business needs. The base pay actually offered will take into account internal equity and also may vary depending on the candidate’s geographic region, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience among other factors. A full range of medical, financial, and/or other variable pay or benefits, may be offered dependent on the level and position offered.
