Position Summary

The STG intern will focus on support of the STG department. This includes general administrative and support duties for the department. They will work closely with the STG coordinators, specifically with our teams on the West Coast in Vancouver. The intern will also take direction from Emerging Talent Manager, and STG Program Manager. What You Need to Know
The STG intern role is a paid 4 month placement from May to August 2025 with the possibility for extension (up to 8 months)
This role is considered Hybrid, which means you will work onsite at our Vancouver studio and occasionally from home
You will be required to work full-time, 40 hours per week, Monday to Friday from 9am to 6pm
We do not provide assistance for relocation, housing, transportation, or work authorization for Internships
You must be a Canadian Citizen or hold Canadian Permanent Resident status and be residing in British Columbia
You must be enrolled in a public, post-secondary school and will return to your studies upon completion of your internship with ILM
What You’ll Do
Schedule STG events and courses, as well as track event attendance
Support the creation of STG presentation content
Assist with department communications
Update the STG website
Organize STG digital files and materials
Support Jedi Academy and emerging talent programming
What We’re Looking For
Studies in film, art, theatre, communications, business or related field, preferred
Exceptional organizational skills, strong attention to detail, and the ability to prioritize and balance multiple tasks
Proactive and follows through with projects independently
Interest in filmmaking and the entertainment industry
Interest in Learning and Development
Excellent interpersonal skills, able to interact well with diverse personalities
The pay rate for this role in Vancouver is C$25.00 per hour. Select benefits may be provided as part of the compensation package, such as medical, financial, and/or other benefits, dependent on the level and position offered.
