The Associate Recruiter needs to be motivated by relationships and fueled by curiosity in identifying top talent for the Disney College Program. Continuous improvement is crucial to the success of our organization. If you are motivated to join this work, we want to hear from you!  

This is an ongoing, seasonal position that is not classified as part-time or full-time. A minimum availability of 24 hours per week is required during the recruitment season. Work hours vary based on business needs, and there may be times when no hours are scheduled due to the seasonal nature. The position is fully remote, though in-person training in Orlando, FL, may be required during onboarding and as needed. Additional requirements are included in the full job description below.

What You Will Do:

In this role, you will focus on identifying and recruiting top talent for the Disney College Program, ensuring candidates have a seamless and engaging experience. You will conduct interviews to assess applicants' skills, preferences, and readiness for placement while addressing their questions and concerns. Collaboration with team members and key partners will be essential to maintain operational excellence and continuous improvement. This position requires adaptability, attention to detail, and a passion for fostering meaningful relationships with candidates.

  • Conduct interviews to assess candidates' interest, skills, and ability to succeed in the Disney College Program.

  • Provide guidance and support to candidates throughout the recruitment lifecycle.

  • Collaborate with team members and stakeholders to ensure operational efficiency and alignment with recruitment goals.

  • Utilize recruitment tools and systems for tracking, communication, and candidate management.

  • Maintain confidentiality and professionalism while handling sensitive information.

  • Adapt to evolving processes and priorities in a dynamic work environment.

Qualifications and Skills:

  • Proficiency in recruitment operations, including interview techniques and applicant assessments.

  • Strong technical acumen with experience in Microsoft Office products (Outlook, Word, PowerPoint) and SharePoint.

  • Ability to navigate and troubleshoot various system platforms.

  • Excellent verbal communication skills to create effective engagement experiences.

  • Capacity to work autonomously while effectively communicating and collaborating within a team.

  • Task-oriented with the ability to follow structured processes and prioritize multiple projects.

  • Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience

  • 3 or more years of relevant experience.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience leading College Program students.

  • Prior experience with Disney Internships & Programs areas.

  • Knowledge of Disney HR systems and processes.

  • Experience with BrassRing and other ATS platforms.

  • Experience with Schedule Olivia

Additional Information:

  • Required Availability: This position is Seasonal Casual Temporary and requires a minimum of 24 hours per week based on Eastern Standard Time office hours (Monday–Friday) during recruitment seasons (August–November, January–May). This opportunity is ongoing. Availability during non-recruitment season may be required based on business need. There may be limited to no hours in the off-season, and hours during the season are based on business need. 

  • Location: This position can be located throughout most of the continental United States, utilizing a dedicated home office (that includes a reliable phone, a high-speed internet service, and video capability). This must be a quiet space, free of distraction.

  • Travel: Travel to the Orlando area may be required for potential ongoing training (typically once per year)


The hiring range for this remote position is $37,320.00 to $45,600.00 per year based on a 24 hour work week. The amount of hours scheduled per week may vary based on business needs. The base pay actually offered will take into account internal equity and also may vary depending on the candidate’s geographic region, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience among other factors. A bonus and/or long-term incentive units may be provided as part of the compensation package, in addition to the full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits, dependent on the level and position offered.
