What You Will Do

In this exciting and fast-paced changing environment, your ability to demonstrate a strong understanding of people, process and technology while assisting with the daily operation of College Recruitment and Engagement is critical.

This position requires a high level of integrity fueled by your ability to be resourceful, overcome hurdles, think outside the box and ability to build long term relationships with others to accomplish goals. Your role will directly support:

  • Day-to-day operations of our on-campus recruiters and ensuring they have an effective and reliable resource
  • All virtual pre-arrival engagement sessions designed to inspire and set up future program participants for success
  • Disney Alumni Association engagement events (in-person and virtual)
  • Disney Program arrivals and onboarding  
  • Responding to participant questions and requests via email and phone calls
  • Being a be part of a team that continually challenges themselves to undergo constant evolution within our operational processes

Required Qualifications & Skills

  • Proven ability to navigate and trouble shoot from a computer technology standpoint
  • Ability to handle confidential information
  • Ability to work in a structured and autonomous environment while communicating effectively with key team members
  • Proven organizational skills while ensuring attention to detail
  • Task oriented with experience following structured processes
  • Passionate about providing superlative guest service at all times
  • Self-starter who demonstrates the ability to investigate, troubleshoot and provide solutions
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.)
  • Driven to actively engage with partners when experiencing challenges
  • Comfortable with and have past facilitation experience
  • Comfortable working with minimum supervision
  • Analytical and have demonstrated critical thinking skills
  • Energized by working in an ever-evolving work environment
  • Team player eager to learn and pitches in when you are needed

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience working with or engaging with College Program students

Education

  • Must be a Senior or recent grad and either a current Disney College Program participant or have successfully completed a past program

Eligibility Requirements & Program Information

Candidates for this opportunity MUST meet all of the below requirements: 

  • Be enrolled in an accredited college/university taking at least one class in the semester/quarter (spring/fall) prior to participation in the internship program OR must have graduated from a college/university within 6 months at time of application posting OR currently participating in a Disney College Program or Disney Internship
  • Be at least 18 years of age
  • Have not completed one year of continual employment on a Disney internship or program. 
  • Possess unrestricted work authorization

Additional Information

  • Must be compliant with The Disney Look appearance guidelines
  • This internship is a primarily on-site position - Must be able to provide a working, reliable internet connection as well as a quiet, dedicated workspace
  • Program length - The approximate dates of this internship are January 2025 - June 2025
  • Work details - Must be able to work FULL TIME hours (approximately 40 per week) for the duration of the internship
  • Must be able to have a consistent, reliable work schedule throughout the internship

  • Transportation - Must have reliable transportation to/from work
