Responsibilities:
- Assists and monitors waste handling and disposal; sees to compliance as per Bahamian requirements
- Instructs, understands and guides Crew in the operation of all equipment and chemicals, cleaning and sanitation procedures, taking corrective actions whenever needed
- Assists in monitoring operating equipment inventories monthly, strives to minimize breakage and chemical consumption
- Interacts with the island management, take operating equipment inventories monthly, strives to minimize breakage and chemical consumption
- Understands and monitors all sanitation laws, policies and procedures
- Sees compliance and follow through with Island Chef de Partie and Island Demi Chef de Partie, taking corrective action when necessary
- Actively suggest ways to improve the operation
- Additional duties and tasks designated by leadership, when necessary
Basic Qualifications:
- Minimum 2 year experience in food service management
- Vessel sanitation program certificate or equivalent degree preferred
- Technical and functional understanding of food service operation
- Ability to work with MSDS safety sheets
- Operational knowledge and ability to execute responsibilities within a busy galley environment

This role is based on Disney’s private island in the Bahamas.Applicants must:
