How will you contribute to our magical experience?
The Jr Analyst, Finance will join the team to support the Content Planning & Analysis team in the monitoring, reporting and analysis of content performance across streaming platforms for Walt Disney family of brands. The role will assist in the preparation of financial analyses, reporting packages and operational tracking to support decision-making and contribute to the achievement of the strategic and financial objectives of the business.
The position will work closely with Finance, Business Intelligence & Analytics, Content Strategy and other business areas, gaining exposure to content performance analysis and financial planning processes.
The Jr Analyst, Finance will be responsible for:
- Assist in the preparation and maintenance of content performance reports and financial analysis.
- Support the tracking of key content performance indicators, including viewership, engagement and profitability metrics.
- Collaborate with the Content Planning & Analysis team in the preparation of recurring reporting packages and presentations.
- Help consolidate information from different business areas to ensure accuracy and consistency of reporting.
- Support the preparation of executive summaries and content performance updates for management.
- Assist in budgeting, forecasting and planning activities related to content performance.
- Work with Business Intelligence & Analytics teams to gather data and generate insights.
- Contribute to process improvement initiatives and automatize opportunities within reporting and planning activities.
What we need from you to be part of this story:
- Bachelor´s degree in Economics, Administration, Finance or related fields.
- 0-2 years of experience in Finance, Accounting or related areas. Preferred industries: Prior experience in Media/Entertainment is a plus, but not a prerequisite.
- Advanced knowledge of Windows and Microsoft Office tools (Solid proficiency in Microsoft Excel)
- Knowledge of Looker, Snowflake are a plus.
- Proactive attitude and willingness to learn.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Attention to detail and commitment to data accuracy.
- Team-oriented mindset with the ability to collaborate across functions.
- Upper intermediate/advanced level of English.
