About the Role & Program

Disney Entertainment Television’s Content & Brand Insights group oversees primary research and social analytics for content across several brands, including Disney Branded Television, ABC, and Freeform. The team is responsible for providing actionable, data-driven consumer insights to inform Development, Programming, Marketing, and Strategy decision-making for some of the most recognizable brands on television!

This role will support the ABC Content & Brand Insights team, a best-in-class team that is forward-thinking, innovative, and engaged in helping understand the evolving entertainment landscape. Working across premiere brands and content, including The Bachelor franchise, hit shows such as Abbott Elementary and Grey’s Anatomy, as well as several others, you will work across several research methodologies, such as pilot testing, viewer surveys, and focus groups.

This internship is a full-time, six-month commitment in the Burbank, CA area from June 2025-January 2026.

What You Will Do

  • Assist with project management: Support various aspects of qualitative and quantitative research, including logistics, coordination, reviewing discussion guides, managing stimuli, taking notes, reviewing questionnaires, proofing links, and helping with data analysis and visualization.

  • Support ad-hoc requests: Analyze a variety of resources, summarize key insights, and communicate findings effectively.

  • Create presentations and deliverables: Help create impactful presentations and deliverables using relevant data visualization techniques and assist in editing and distilling findings.

  • Provide insights: Contribute insights into topics impacting our audience, including current content landscape trends and viewing behavior.

  • Ensure quality and timeliness: Assist in ensuring the quality and timeliness of projects and deliverables by coordinating with internal teams and external research vendors.

Required Qualifications & Skills

  • Experience using Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.

  • Self-starter with passion, energy, and enthusiasm to impact the future of content.

  • Strong communication skills (verbal, written, listening).

  • Exceptional organization, time, and project management skills.

  • Dedication to delivering the highest quality work; unflagging attention to detail.

  • Flexible; embraces new assignments with a can-do attitude as priorities change.

  • Collaborative and able to work across a variety of teams and establish strong relationships.

  • Skilled at data visualization and creating impactful presentations and deliverables.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Advanced computer skills; SPSS, Tableau, or Snowflake experience a plus.

  • Knowledge of Adobe Photoshop.

Education

  • Junior or Senior year preferred.

  • Major or previous coursework in communications, marketing, psychology, sociology, or a related major is preferred.

Eligibility Requirements & Program Information

Candidates for this opportunity MUST meet all of the below requirements:

  • Be enrolled in an accredited college/university pursuing a degree taking at least one class at time of application OR currently participating in a Disney College Program or Disney Internship.

  • Current Disney Interns, College, International, or Culinary Program Participants: You may only work for ONE consecutive year (12 months) in any combination of an internship and/or program.

  • Be at least 18 years of age

  • Possess unrestricted work authorization.

Additional Information

  • This internship is a full-time, six-month commitment in the Burbank, CA area from June 2025-January 2026.

  • Able to have a consistent, reliable work schedule throughout the internship.

  • Fully available Monday through Friday for the duration of the internship, 40 hours each week.

  • Able to provide own housing for the duration of the internship program in the Burbank, CA area.

  • Able to provide/have reliable transportation to/from work.

The pay rate for this role in California is $22.00 per hour.
