The Disney Cruise Line Risk Management’s Business Systems Analyst role supervises the ongoing needs related to the successful operation of Disney Cruise Line Risk Management’s reporting systems, including the Disney Cruise Line Incident Management System (DCLIMS), SeaCare, and the Claims Administration Reporting System (CARS).
We are seeking a candidate who can quickly adapt, demonstrates a positive attitude, and is deeply passionate about support and service. This individual should be a team player who takes accountability for their responsibilities, fosters strong collaboration within the team, and effectively supports business users while working seamlessly with internal and external partners.
This position is based in Celebration, Florida.
This position reports to the Sr Manager – DCL Risk Management
You Will:
Identify, troubleshoot, and resolve user reported system issues including data interface and functional issues, as well as user access
Lead projects of small complexity to ensure business needs are met and completed within a defined schedule and budget
Build and maintain administrative coding tables across systems/platforms
Work closely with users to understand business problems and opportunities, and analyze and present solution options
Collaborate with IT Security, project managers, vendors, and internal partners to address open findings and ensure the successful design, development, and testing of project implementations.
Act as the liaison between business users, IT technical personnel, and vendors, to accurately articulate technical issues, business impact, and ensure timely resolution of issues and escalation of complex or critical business problems
Partner with system administrators/stakeholders to develop and assign trainings and communications for end-users
Serve as point-of-contact for new user access requests for DCLIMS and maintain roles grid for Business Systems Management team
You Will Have:
3+ years of experience in business systems analysis, including designing and building system solutions that meet organizational needs.
Demonstrable ability to interpret business needs into application requirements and recommend solutions for enhancements
Ability to effectively communicate complex business and technology information with both internal and external contacts in both written and verbal formats
Proven strong organizational skills with attention to detail
Demonstrated decision-making skills, problem-solving skills, as well as continuous improvement process skills
Demonstrated skills in project management for moderate-complexity projects
Experience working with cross-functional teams; understanding tasks and responsibilities; providing direction to users and vendors to complete work efforts
Excellent interpersonal and relationship-building skills
Proven self-starter with the ability to work independently, manage priorities effectively, and deliver high-quality results within established timeframes
Demonstrated experience with identifying, troubleshooting, and resolving user-reported system issues
Preferred Qualifications:
Familiarity and/or experience in Risk Management, Claims Administration, and/or Safety Management operating systems
Required Education
Bachelor’s degree in Risk Management, Industrial Engineering, Information Technology, Business Administration, or equivalent
Preferred Education
Master’s degree in Risk Management, Industrial Engineering, Information Technology, Business Administration, or equivalent
