This is an hourly part time role supporting Disney Cruise Line shipboard. You will regularly partner with multiple teams including Labor Operations, Recruitment and Crew Travel. In this role you will be responsible for supporting the Crew arrival experience, delivering all pre-arrival communications and assisting Crew with the document renewal process prior to their return to the vessel.
You will report to: Manager, Crew Operations
What You Will Do
You will serve as an integral point of contact for our Crew shaping the overall Crew Experience from their travel to the ship to their repatriation back home.
You will monitor the Crew Logistics Mailbox (Zendesk) and phone line assisting Crew, partners and shipboard leaders with all questions and concerns, taking necessary action as needed.
Process timely and accurate transactions in the Crew Management Application, HR System of Record, Workflow and other Disney Cruise Line specific systems.
Collaborate with other Disney Cruise Line Departments to ensure Crew documents are valid; processing, expediting and following up as necessary regarding the renewal process.
Assist leadership with Crew arrival logistics including providing onsite support as needed for the Crew arrival and embarkation process.
Basic Qualifications
Demonstrated computer proficiency with Word, Excel, Outlook, SharePoint, SAP
Exhibits strong verbal and written communication skills
Organized with a strong attention to detail and accuracy; excellent follow-through skills
Ability to handle multiple tasks in a fast paced environment
Someone energized by a fast paced, ever-changing environment
Demonstrated partnering skills
Ability to handle confidential information
A self-motivated problem-solver with a strong desire to contribute to our overall success
Ability to manage multiple work streams and make quick, smart decisions on how to prioritize competing needs
Available to work any shift including early mornings, days, weekends and holidays
Preferred Qualifications
Minimum of 1 years of Disney experience in Park, shipboard and/or resort operations
Minimum 1 year experience in a Disney Trainer or Coordinator type role
Zendesk Experience
Advanced analytical and reporting skills with Excel
Proven Cruise industry experience
Proven experience in Human Resources
Proven experience working in an international environment with international partners
