Responsibilities:
Lead and execute logistics projects aimed at improving efficiency, reducing costs, and enhancing overall supply chain performance.
Identify and implement process improvements to enhance logistics workflows, reduce lead times, and improve service levels.
Maintain effective communication with internal and external stakeholders to address logistics issues and ensure alignment with business objectives.
Implement best practices and innovative solutions to drive operational excellence.
Ensure all logistics activities comply with relevant regulations, including customs requirements and safety standards.
Provide training and support to internal teams on shipping requirements and best practices.
Prepare and present detailed reports on project status, performance metrics, and logistics KPIs.
Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation of logistics processes and project plans.
Conduct regular audits of logistics processes and documentation to ensure compliance.
Qualifications:
Minimum of 5 years of experience in logistics, supply chain management, or trade compliance, with a focus on project management.
Strong knowledge of international trade regulations and customs procedures.
Proven track record of successfully managing logistics projects and driving process improvements.
Knowledge of working with various ERP & TMS systems or other systems that are similar.
Strong communication skills, particularly in written correspondence such as email, are essential for this role.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with diverse teams.
Proactive self-starter with strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Experience with supply chain optimization models and analysis (financial assessments).
Knowledge or experience when it comes to project management, specifically ensuring a consistent flow of communication to various partners and stakeholders.
Ability to effectively manage and adhere to deadlines and the capability to prioritize tasks to ensure timely completion of projects and assignments.
Desired Qualifications:
Experience in international logistics or cruise related position(s) a plus.
Proficient working with various ERP & TMS systems, including database knowledge – e.g. SAP, ORACLE, AMOS.
Required Education:
Bachelor’s Degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, Industrial Engineering, or relevant work experience.
