The Payroll Department at The Walt Disney Company plays a critical role in ensuring accurate and compliant compensation for Disney’s global workforce. The department manages complex payroll systems, oversees tax and legal compliance across jurisdictions, and supports internal audits and reporting. Additionally, the team provides responsive customer service to employees and HR partners, resolves payroll-related issues, and leads initiatives to modernize and streamline payroll operations. Their work ensures that Disney’s diverse and dynamic workforce is paid accurately, on time, and in accordance with all applicable regulations and agreements.

Project Support for Payroll
- Support enterprise Time and Payroll initiatives such as system implementations, enhancements, and integrations (e.g., Time systems, SAP Time & Pay, Payroll Control Center)
- Develop and maintain process documentation, job aids, and testing artifacts to support project transitions
System Maintenance/Testing
- Submit requests for system sustainment
- Perform testing and validation of system changes
Payroll Troubleshooting and Consultation
- Assist with Payroll runs and related processes
- Process off-cycle requests related to troubleshooting
Hiring Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field or at least 5 years of experience working on a payroll team for a large complex organization.
- Minimum of 2 years in Payroll or Timekeeping roles, preferably in large, complex organizations
- Proven knowledge and understanding of The. Walt Disney Co. policies and procedures
- Ability to handle confidential information
- Experience with navigating/using SAP
- Technical knowledge of SAP Time and Payroll modules
- More than 2 years in Payroll or Timekeeping roles, preferably in large, complex organizations
- Experience working with large payroll systems (e.g., ADP, Workday, SAP, Oracle, Ceridian)
- Ability to drive to collaborative solutions
- Demonstrated strategic and creative thinking skills
- Ability to balance project work with operational payroll responsibilities during peak periods.
