This role supports the Social Listening team for Disney Experiences including brands such as the Walt Disney World resort, Disneyland, Disney Cruise Line, Disney Signature Experiences, and Disney Consumer Products.
The Social Listening Specialist will report to the Manager, Consumer Insight.
Job Role and Responsibilities:
As a Consumer Insight Analyst you will be supporting the social listening team to harness the power of social media and other digital platforms to uncover valuable consumer insights. You will be responsible for monitoring brand sentiment, identifying emerging trends, and analyzing consumer conversations to inform strategic decisions. Your keen analytical skills will help you interpret large volumes of data to provide actionable recommendations that enhance marketing strategies, product development, and overall guest experience.
Job Responsibilities:
Leverage social listening tools to track and analyze consumer conversations across various digital platforms.
Identify and interpret trends, consumer sentiment, and key themes related to the Disney Experiences brands by utilizing open coding methods.
Create comprehensive reports to visualize social listening insights for internal stakeholders.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate social listening data into broader consumer insight initiatives.
Provide actionable recommendations based on social listening analysis to optimize marketing campaigns and product offerings.
Stay up-to-date with the latest social media trends, tools, and best practices.
Required Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Data Science, or a related field.
2 years experience in social listening, secondary research, or a similar analytical role.
Proficiency in social listening tools and software (e.g., Brandwatch, Meltwater, Quid).
Strong analytical and quantitative skills with the ability to interpret large data sets
Proficiency in Excel.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Passion for the Disney brand and a deep understanding of its mission and values.
Preferred Qualifications:
Masters Degree
Proficiency with Data Visualization Tools
