Job Summary
The Solutions & Platforms Manager is a hands-on builder responsible for designing, piloting, and scaling technology-powered tools that support Disney Experiences (DX) Communications. This role focuses on execution—developing prompts, prototypes, and automations; running pilots; and transitioning approved concepts into reliable, production-ready solutions that meet DX standards for brand integrity, security, and scalability.
This role partners closely with the Strategy & Use Cases Product Owner to operationalize prioritized new technology initiatives.
Responsibilities
- Build and iterate new technology prompts, prototypes, automations, and early-stage tools that support DX Communications & Public Affairs workflows
- Execute new technology pilots from concept through adoption decision, including testing, validation, and readiness assessments
- Partner with relevant internal teams to transition approved pilots into scalable, production-ready solutions
- Develop reusable frameworks for content generation, insights extraction, issue monitoring, and workflow optimization
- Monitor solution performance, reliability, and adoption; implement continuous improvements
- Ensure experimental tools align with DX brand standards, accuracy requirements, and responsible-use guidelines
- Translate defined business requirements into technical solutions and explain tech capabilities to non-technical users
- Create documentation, playbooks, and enablement materials to support adoption across DX Communications teams
Note: This is an internal assignment/project hire position.
Basic Qualifications
- Minimum 3-5 years of experience in new technology solutions development, automation, digital platforms, or technology innovation roles
- Hands-on experience building prompts, prototypes, or workflow automations using modern technology tools
- Experience supporting pilots or proofs of concept through evaluation and scale decisions
- Working knowledge of solution lifecycle considerations, including monitoring, reliability, and scalability
- Strong collaboration skills in a matrixed, cross-functional environment
- Excellent problem-solving and communication skills
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience supporting communications, media, public affairs, or brand-facing teams
- Familiarity with enterprise technology governance, security, or compliance requirements
- Experience developing internal tools or platforms used by non-technical audiences
- Exposure to change management or user enablement efforts
- Experience working in large, complex, or global organizations
Required Education
- Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems, Communications, Business, Digital Media, Technology Management, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience

The hiring range for this position in California is $115,500.00 to $154,800.00 per year and in New York is $121,000.00 to $162,200.00 per year. The base pay actually offered will take into account internal equity and also may vary depending on the candidate’s geographic region, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience among other factors. A bonus and/or long-term incentive units may be provided as part of the compensation package, in addition to the full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits, dependent on the level and position offered.
