As a forward-looking HR professional supporting our Imagineering creative organization, you will serve as a strategic business partner to senior leadership by developing and delivering integrated and inclusive HR Services such as: Strategy Development, Organization Design, Talent Management, Organization & Cast Effectiveness, Change & Transition Management and Functional HR Integration. This role reports to the Director, HR Business Partner.

What You Will Do

  • Provide strategic HR leadership and consultation focused on creating innovative HR strategies to anticipate and assess emerging business, organization or people trends and identify and implement the appropriate Human Resource / Diversity & Inclusion solutions.

  • Design and implement strategies to increase organization, team and individual performance to improve the business’s capabilities to deliver against its goals. Provide expertise in the areas of leadership and executive team development, organization and cast effectiveness, and meeting design/facilitation with a bias toward building client capability.

  • Collaborate with HR functional partners to implement human resources strategies to enable business goals and support future business growth.

  • Carry out the Talent Management process to identify current and forecasted talent needs and, in partnership with other site and segment partners, develop action plans to mitigate associated risk and improve confidence in future successor readiness to enable business goals.

  • Provide executive coaching to senior leaders helping them grow professionally through guidance, feedback, and collaborative goal-setting to enhance leadership effectiveness and drive organizational success.

  • Provide leadership by guiding and coaching within the HR team with direct and indirect reports. Mentor and develop HR team members.

  • Deliver HR services to clients resulting in a seamless point of contact to the broader HR organization and ensuring successful integration of functional partner initiatives and expertise.

  • Identify and analyze trends, using data to develop strategic solutions that influence positive outcomes and drive continuous improvement initiatives.

  • Maintain an effective level of business literacy to provide a consultative approach to delivery of HR services. Leverage HR / business skills and knowledge to challenge or influence leadership in decision-making processes.

Required Qualifications & Skills

  • Minimum 7 years of experience in human resources, organization development, training or related talent planning field, preferably in a creative environment

  • Must be able to provide creative solutions and unique approaches to HR/business challenges

  • Needs to be an authentic thought partner with confidence and courage to push boundaries

  • Proven ability to flex between creative and engineering work styles and decision making.

  • Experience in managing multiple projects with strong prioritization skills

  • Proven advising and/or change management experience and knowledge of HR industry practices

  • Must have strong integration and strategic planning skills

  • Strong facilitation and presentation skills

  • Demonstrated problem solving and decision making skills

  • Must be able to influence and partner within a diverse organization to help drive business results

  • Ability to manage conflict and the courage to challenge organizational thinking

  • Must be willing to travel up to 10% of the time

Preferred Qualifications

  • Relevant industry experience or knowledge in the creative (preferably within a cutting edge, highly innovative environment)

  • SAP/Workday experience

  • Project management experience

  • Experience working in a large, corporate, matrixed environment

Education

  • Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college in Human Resources, Business Administration or related field or combination equivalent work experience


The hiring range for this position in Glendale, CA is $163,200 to $199,400 per year. The base pay actually offered will take into account internal equity and also may vary depending on the candidate’s geographic region, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience among other factors. A bonus and/or long-term incentive units may be provided as part of the compensation package, in addition to the full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits, dependent on the level and position offered.
