About the Role & Team
The Facility Asset Management Field Representative will lead the site implementation of construction projects. You may ask what does a day in the life of a Field Rep look like? Well, The Field Representative works with project managers, team members, contractors, and governmental agencies in the implementation of project management plans and strategies. As a Field Representative, you will handle worksite construction activities and ensure that our client's requirements regarding functionality, and standards are met. To be successful in this role, you will ensure the project meets compliance with construction procedures, Environmental, Department of Health, and code requirements.
You must have the flexibility to work 3rd shift and weekends on occasion.
You will work for the Program Field Representative.
What You Will Do
- Work with the project team and Walt Disney World Safety in the development and implementation of the project safety plan.
- Participate in project development and provide constructability analysis and value engineering recommendations.
- Ensure contractor/manufacturer compliance with contract drawings, schedule and specifications, applicable codes, and Disney standards.
- Help develop site logistics.
- Conduct regular site walks & inspections.
- Monitor project schedule and identify recovery options to avoid schedule delays.
- Prepare daily reports of contractor work activities.
- Track onsite personnel, equipment used, and progress.
- Lead/participate in applicable meetings: Pre-construction, weekly team, safety, operations, contractor, Reedy Creek Improvement District, and own the on-site meetings.
Required Qualifications & Skills
- Knowledge of the construction process and the relationships, the project management process, and construction contracting.
- Read and interpret drawings, specifications, and general requirements.
- Identify issues and express the impact they may have on the overall process.
- Experience working on complex construction site(s).
- Experience working with contractors, sub-contractors, and consultants to achieve the completion of projects that meet client expectations.
- Receptive to working 3rd shift and weekends when needed.
Preferred Qualifications
- Completion of an Internship or Co-op Program in an applicable field.
- 2 + years of experience in the commercial facilities construction industry.

The hiring range for this position in Florida is $75,700.00-$101,400.00 per year. The base pay actually offered will take into account internal equity and also may vary depending on the candidate’s geographic region, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience among other factors. A bonus and/or long-term incentive units may be provided as part of the compensation package, in addition to the full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits, dependent on the level and position offered.
