The Sr. Maximo Specialist is a member of the Operational Services and Strategy team in the Reedy Creek Energy Services (RCES) organization. RCES Cast Members work on behalf of the Central Florida Tourism Oversight District (CFTOD) designing, operating, and maintaining CFTOD-owned utility systems across the Walt Disney World (WDW) Resort. You will be responsible for RCES asset management system, Maximo, and its administrative and technical functions and capabilities. This role will focus on maintaining data integrity and process integrity for: work orders, labor, preventative maintenance, assets, locations, user information, and purchasing. You will report to the Planning Manager-Maximo, Operational Services and Strategy Division.
Responsibilities/You Will
Create and maintain Interdepartmental partnerships with each RCES utility to assist with business process mapping and standard operating guideline documentation.
Monitor and report on system utilization, changes, performance, and data integrity.
Develop and maintain training material and documents relevant to the current Maximo production environment.
Develop and maintain electronic workflow processes within the systems that mirror the organization’s evolving business processes and practices.
Implement, communicate, and collaborate with all departments regarding changes and improvements during all phases of a Maximo upgrade.
Provide day-to-day management and control of Maximo to ensure the data integrity, changes, and configurations meet the objectives and expectations of the RCES Enterprise Standards.
Maintain user records in the system including security settings and any other key internal controls.
Other responsibilities as assigned.
Facilitate the creation/modification of assets, job plans, routes, and preventative maintenance tasks.
Facilitate the evaluation of the number of backlogged work orders at the beginning of the month for the eight utilities, percentage of scheduled work orders completed at the end of the month, and the average time (in days) to complete a work order by category.
Basic Qualifications/You Will Have
Proficient in the Microsoft Office Suite including SharePoint.
Adept at spreadsheet manipulation.
Strong understanding of linear processes.
Excellent interpersonal, analytical and communication (written and verbal) skills, and demonstrate the ability to work and communicate well with a variety of people (management, technical specialists/technicians) in a professional and courteous manner.
Inquisitive, self-motivated, detail-oriented, proactive, and well organized.
Works independently, with little definition and without supervision, exercises sound judgment and considerable initiative to determine the approach or action to take in non-routine situations.
Preferred Qualifications
2+ years of experience working with IBM Maximo or any related Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS).
Working knowledge of work order scheduling and tracking, corrective and preventative maintenance work order management
Prior related utility work experience related to asset management.
Required Education
High School Diploma or GED required. Coursework in Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering, Business Technology, or two (2) years of related experience is preferred. Candidates demonstrating strong technical aptitude, problem-solving skills, and an interest in enterprise asset management systems such as IBM Maximo are encouraged to apply. Technical certifications, vocational training, internships, and participation in STEM-related programs may be substituted for formal experience.
Preferred Education
Associate’s degree with two (2) years of related experience or technical coursework, certifications, or vocational training in Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering Technology, Business Systems, or Industrial Maintenance. Community college coursework, STEM participation, internships, apprenticeships, or other hands-on technical learning experiences are highly desirable.
The pay rate for this role in Lake Buena Vista, Florida is $23.60 to $29.50 per hour. The base pay actually offered may vary depending on the candidate’s geographic region, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience, among other factors.
