The Sr Compensation Analyst will play a crucial role within the DX Compensation team. As a support and partner to our internal Compensation team, this role is integral in the planning, development, implementation, and administration of various compensation programs with a heavy focus on crafting and maintaining compensation analysis tools. The ideal candidate will have strong partnering skills, strong analytical skills, experience in compensation, and developer skills to improve and automate compensation processes.

Responsibilities:

  • Through partnership and requirements gathering with the Compensation teams, create and implement compensation analysis tools to support a variety of  work efforts.  This also includes development, maintenance, and administration of these data automation tools to support more efficient, automated work processes.
  • Lead and coordinate compensation projects, including the annual increase planning process and compensation market survey submissions.
  • Provide data reporting and analysis for a wide range of compensation initiatives and provide recommendations to senior leaders within the organization.
  • Identify, recommend, and resolve pay process/system challenges.
  • Collaborate with key partners such as our Enterprise and other segment Compensation teams,  HRIS, Workforce Management, GHRO, Payroll, and Labor Relations to ensure successful planning and implementation of compensation changes.
  • Support the implementation of HR and compensation systems.
  • Assist with skill development within the team through training and/or demonstration of tools and processes.

Basic Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Finance, Business, or equivalent.
  • Minimum 3 years of experience (within the last 8 years) in Finance, Business, Human Resources, or a related field.
  • Proven strong analytical and problem-solving skills with ability to tell a story around results.
  • Demonstrated proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (particularly Excel and Access), MS SQL Server, VBA or Visual Basic, and MS Visual Studio.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects and priorities.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Proven experience in both Union and non-Union environments.
  • Proven experience working in a fast-paced environment.
  • Experience with Workday, SAP HR systems, and pay systems (e.g., CATS and MYTIME).
  • Proven experience with other programming languages or cloud-based solutions (e.g. Python, Snowflake, etc.).
  • Ability to learn new applications quickly and become proficient with those applications.
  • Prior experience with testing system enhancements and data integrations.
  • Prior experience developing future state recommendations and delivering end-user training.
  • Prior compensation experience.
  • Prior experience with data visualization software (e.g. Tableau, Power BI, etc.)

Required Education:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Finance, Business, or relevant work experience.
