Reporting to the Marketing Manager, this position will be responsible for leading the daily operations of content planning, partnership and brand activations in Mainland China due to the imminent need to expand China business to grow GBA and other parts of China. Working closely with Marketing’s Strategy, Product, Consumer Engagement and Co-marketing teams on implementation of integrated marketing communication materials with the objective of planning and executing creative assets and activation ideas efficiently.
Job responsibilities
To maintain, plan and execute the digital and social media plans for China
Responsible for the content planning, commercial opportunities and results tracking/analytics in social platforms of Hong Kong Disneyland
Ideate, articulate and lead the activation initiatives including advertising, digital and social, KOL management, partnership effort and events
Working closely with other Line of Business (i.e. Corporate Alliance, Magic Access, Operations, Corporate Public Affairs, Distribution Marketing) to support the implementation of activation plans
Responsible for supporting the communications for other Line of Business, and to leverage, optimize and manage quality of assets produced
Manage budget and deliver programs within admin and audit process
Job requirements
Bachelor's degree in marketing, Business, Communication or related disciplines
Minimum 5-7 years’ relevant marketing experience in China regarding social and digital area, with native understanding of platform operations
Experience in managing popular social media platforms, including but not limited to WeChat, Xiaohongshu, Douyin, Weibo, Bilibili, with experience to manage China social communities and KOL as a plus
Ability to judge creativity with strong project management skills to collaborate with different types of stakeholders under fast-paced work environments
Strong writing skills; proficiency in spoken and written English, Cantonese and Mandarin
