Job Summary:

Provide expert service on Non-destructive test inspection of welds/material to ensure safety and reliability of ride, parade floats & theatre systems.
Perform and record attraction quality assurance inspection job plans and Central Shops cycle job plans and production inspection. Execute quality control on ride parts to ensure compliance with Disney quality & safety standard.

Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for N.D.T. inspection of welds, ride / parade / theatre components' metal structural integrity and administer weld tests
  • Perform various mechanical inspections & responsible for inspection of all ride parts and assemblies according to the requirements
  • Prepare inspection reports, execute the Disney's Material Review Board process and works
  • Verify compliance of welding procedures / welder qualification
  • Plan & schedule NDT activities meeting with Quality Assurance & control Master Plan & Schedule
  • Conduct on-site inspections at Suppliers' premises
  • Implement & support Quality Assurance job plan and work order completion5S good housekeeping
  • Manage & housekeep goods with 5S method

Basic Qualifications:

  • Diploma or above in Engineering or related disciplines
  • At least 4 years of relevant experience
  • Ability to work on blueprints, sketches, and verbal instructions
  • Familiar with basic principles of various NDT methods and metal processing & welding process
  • With Sound knowledge in NDT in both of weld and mechanical components
  • Possession of relevant certification is preferred. ASNT / PCN / ACCP / ISO or equivalent international recognized body on at least two for following NDT qualifications (i) Level II in magnetic particle inspection, (ii) Level II in liquid penetrant inspection, (iii) Level II in Visual Testing, (iv) Level II in Ultrasonic Testing. Plus certified welding inspector by AWS/CSWIP

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Knowledge in engineering precision measurement is an advantage
