About the Role & Team

Disney+ is The Walt Disney Company’s Direct to Consumer video entertainment service. The service consists of long form and short form video built around six key content brands (Disney, Pixar, Marvel, Star Wars, National Geographic and Star) with an appealing and easy to use interface accessed across multiple platforms (e.g. televisions, mobile devices, PCs).

The Disney+ team is responsible for the country launches and day to day operation of Disney+ across Europe, Middle East and Africa, with a specific focus on customer acquisition and retention, marketing, partnerships, content programming, research and analytics.

The EMEA Customer Acquisition team’s mission is to make it as easy as possible for potential customers to discover and sign-up to Disney+.

You will be part a team of four optimising the disneyplus.com experience to drive acquisition, upgrades/downgrades, reduce cancellations and optimise winback tactics, also leveraging other owned channels such as email, app notifications, and more.

You will be working closely with Product, Analytics, Marketing Operations, Design and Local teams to define and execute the testing roadmap and implement winning treatments, promote key beats.

This role will require you to be onsite 4 days a week.

What You Will Do

  • Develop and implement the testing roadmap for key digital channels (landing page, sign-up flow, cancellation flow, email, push, etc) optimising for conversion and lifetime value

  • Partner with Product, Analytics, Marketing Operations, Design to find opportunities to drive customer acquisition and retention (incl. through offers and winback) as well as upgrades and downgrades

  • Collaborate with local teams in EMEA markets to deliver campaigns and initiatives across the region

  • Monitor KPIs and report progress, gaps, opportunities to senior leadership

Required Qualifications & Skills

  • Successful track record in defining and implementing acquisition strategies (managing KPIs such as conversion rate and lifetime value) in the SVOD industry or other fast paced subscription services

  • Extensive experience in developing and implementing A/B testing roadmaps

  • Extensive experience partnering with Product teams

  • Numerical, with an ability to distil figures into a narrative that is clear and concise

  • Excellent influencing and business partner collaboration

  • Strong presentation and interpersonal skills

  • Thrives in an ambiguous, fast paced and cross-functional environment
