About the Role & Team
This is a new position within the EMEA Talent Acquisition team, reporting into the Senior Recruiter for Media UK&I. Our mission is to provide Disney with the most talented and diverse candidates, internally and externally, in the shortest time frames, whilst providing exceptional customer service.
You will also act as a business partner with Line Managers to manage the end to end recruitment service to ensure best in class practices through attraction, sourcing, assessment and selection of candidates, to ensure that TWDC is viewed as an ‘Employer of Choice’
This role is being hired on a 6 month contract and will require you to work from our Hammersmith office 4 days per week and 1 day from home, to support with the continuous high volume of hiring activity across UK&I Media.
What You Will Do
With guidance of the Senior Recruiter, decide on the most appropriate methodology including direct sourcing, head hunting, advertising, agencies and exploring internal solutions
Acting as a trusted recruitment partner as part of a team, taking ownership for the successful conclusion of recruitment assignments. Ensuring delivery of a service that is customer focused.
Attend internal kick-off meetings with hiring managers.
Responsible for supporting the Senior Recruiter’s 360 recruitment processes to fully understand the requirements of each vacancy to ensure the shortlisted CVs are of the quality desired.
Deliver quality candidates through a range of direct sources to ensure effective delivery of The Walt Disney Company’s recruitment objectives, with a strong focus on direct sourcing.
Create talent pipelines for future requirements where appropriate
Draft creative and engaging adverts that will attract quality candidates to our vacancies.
Undertake initial pre-screening through both CV review and telephone screening & with line managers as required, exercising judgement on candidate suitability and influencing and motivating candidates to opportunities.
Be aware of the activities of the TA team to ensure sharing of quality CVs amongst the team for other suitable roles / openings
Participates in candidate evaluation and selection process.
Maintains absolute client focus throughout the process.
Ensuring the global recruitment system (Workday) and data processes are fully utilised and all records are kept up to date and accurate (and in line with GDPR requirements).
Maintains smooth flow of admin throughout the recruitment process e.g. communication to stakeholders, candidates, HR, etc.
Responsible for quality and data integrity of all related recruitment information, including all offers of employment via Global HR Operations
Required Qualifications & Skills
Proven experience of end-to-end recruitment in an in-house recruitment position
Experience of recruiting in a Media/Entertainment environment is highly desirable
Experience in a large, multinational matrix environment preferred
Ability to operate and navigate in an environment of change and ambiguity
Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, service-driven, corporate environment
Experience of using an Applicant Tracking system or similar, recruitment-focused software
Knowledge of LinkedIn Recruiter and other social recruiting platforms
Strong familiarity with Boolean and X-Ray searching techniques
Experience of managing a requisition list of circa 20 varied vacancies concurrently
High level of attention to detail and a passion to offer a real quality service
