POSITION: Senior Executive – Financial Planning & Analysis
DEPARTMENT: Business Finance – Star Sports
LOCATION: Mumbai
About the Role:
To drive financial planning and reporting processes across the organization. Drive and enable financial thinking, choices and investments. Drive and standardize right operating KPIs/drivers which will influence decision making
Key Responsibilities:
- Responsible for preparations of budgets and forecasts.
- Preparation of monthly PL and analytics on key business drivers.
- Thorough understanding of accounting principles.
- Liaise closely with Finance and local accounting teams to establish timelines, inputs and deliverables.
- Sharp focus on business metrics and analytics. Driving various Automation, new dashboards & advanced analysis
- Proactive in actively participation in process improvement and system development.
- Identify key improvement for OI improvement by identifying cost reduction areas and revenue streams.
- Ensure accuracy & timely sharing of financial information.
Knowledge and Skills:
- Proficiency in Excel & PowerPoint along-with knowledge of advanced excel functions.
- Exposure in SAP, Hyperion & Power BI will be an added advantage.
- Should possess good interpersonal and communication skills to collaborate effectively.
- Energetic and Zeal to learn.
- Go getter who can make things happen given the stiff timelines.
- Eye for detail
Qualifications:
CA with 1-2 years of experience, who has worked in a mid to large scale company and responsible for driving financial planning and reporting process.
