ESPN Fantasy Marketing Associate Manager

Job Summary:

The ESPN Fantasy Marketing Associate Manager will be responsible for contributing to the marketing of ESPN Fantasy products and the development of the creative campaigns that support these products. This position will report directly to the Sr. Dir of Marketing, Fantasy & BET. This position is based in NYC.

Responsibilities:

  • Executes a marketing plan that drives growth of Fantasy business and moves fans within the ESPN Digital ecosystem.
  • Partner with cross-functional stakeholders to execute against the acquisition, engagement, retention, and monetization goals of ESPN Fantasy products and properties.
  • Deeply collaborates with ESPN’s internal and external partners on campaign development and tactical marketing efforts.
  • Provides input to the Product team with the goal of leveraging the ESPN Digital audience to drive Fantasy product growth as well as growth of other key initiatives, including DTC efforts.
  • Aids in the preparation of our flagship product through contributing creative excellence and providing insights to drive user acquisition, engagement, accessibility, and awareness.
  • Works with our external creative agency in developing the brand positioning and creative campaigns that support the brand.
  • Analyzes campaign performance and user engagement metrics to measure success and identify areas for improvement.

Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in digital media/sports marketing.
  • Passion for sports, fantasy sports and sports betting.
  • Experience executing digital marketing campaigns that drove acquisition, retention, and engagement with proven results. 
  • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Interest in the changing landscape of sports media and gaming.
  • Comfortable analyzing data in collaboration with research and business development teams.
  • Great teammate with strong written and verbal communication skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Comfortable in a changing environment and able to pivot as required by business priorities
  • Subject matter expert when it comes to the fantasy and sports betting industries

Required Education:

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Marketing, Business or a related field

The hiring range for this position in New York, New York is $81,918 to $109,890 per year. The base pay actually offered will take into account internal equity and also may vary depending on the candidate’s geographic region, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience among other factors. A bonus and/or long-term incentive units may be provided as part of the compensation package, in addition to the full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits, dependent on the level and position offered.
