We are seeking a Manager to join the Disney Streaming Marketing Finance team, reporting to the Senior Manager, Marketing Finance. This Manager will play a key role in supporting Streaming’s business and financial leadership with financial, strategic planning and analytical support related to all aspects of Disney Streaming Marketing.

What You Will Do

  • Lead executive reporting of Direct-to-Consumer Marketing across Global Disney+, Hulu, and ESPN+ in support of annual planning, long-range planning, and the bi-monthly forecasting process

  • Effectively provide executive stakeholders with highly visible, ad hoc analysis and insights after each forecast to support key business decisions

  • Partner with marketing teams to identify and consolidate risks and opportunities, key trade-offs, and relevant strategic issues

  • Collaborate with marketing, finance, and data teams to build and manage tools to track and optimize marketing spend, such as Marketing Mix Models

  • Analyze the competitive streaming market and identify marketing-driven strategic opportunities

  • Partner with other Direct to Consumer finance and FP&A teams on optimizing the P&L and analyzing the subscriber model and lifetime value

  • Lead and develop team overseeing a Senior Financial Analyst

Required Qualifications & Skills

  • 5+ years of relevant finance/business experience in media/entertainment, management/strategy consulting, investment banking, or equity research

  • Current knowledge of trends in the media & entertainment industry, such as M&A, strategic shifts, or product initiatives

  • Proficiency in interpreting a financial P&L statement and basic financial KPIs

  • Advanced Excel skills; experience building operating models and analyzing large data sets

  • Excellent communication and PowerPoint skills; ability to distill analyses into structured outputs for executive-level deliverables

  • Capacity to multi-task, work collaboratively with different teams in a fast-paced environment, and keep supervisor promptly informed

Preferred Qualifications

  • Understanding of subscription, direct-to-consumer, and media industry economic models

Education

BA/BS required; CPA, CFA, MBA or equivalent preferred


The hiring range for this position in NY is $126,000.00-$157,400.00 per year. The base pay actually offered will take into account internal equity and also may vary depending on the candidate’s geographic region, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience among other factors. A bonus and/or long-term incentive units may be provided as part of the compensation package, in addition to the full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits, dependent on the level and position offered.
