The Studio Content Marketing & Publicity Associate Manager is responsible for supporting the development and execution of marketing campaigns for theatrical and DTC content released by the Company’s global studios, including Disney, Pixar, Marvel, Lucasfilm, 20th Century Studios, and Searchlight Pictures.

This role works closely with internal teams, agencies and Home Office stakeholders to manage campaign execution, creative asset localization and delivery, media coordination, and consumer research initiatives that help drive effective marketing strategies and audience engagement.

This position will report to the Studio Content Team Lead, Integrated Marketing, Korea.

Responsibilities:

Marketing Strategy & Positioning

  • Plan and execute overall marketing strategies and positioning for assigned theatrical and DTC titles.

  • Contribute creative and stand-out marketing ideas tailored to each title and target audience.

Media & Campaign Management

  • Review and provide feedback on TV, OOH and Print media plans developed by the Media team to ensure alignment with campaign objectives, title positioning and target audiences.

  • Coordinate with internal stakeholders and agencies to support the execution of TV, OOH and Print media campaigns.

  • Monitor campaign performance and collaborate with the Media team on optimization opportunities throughout the campaign lifecycle.

  • Collaborate with the Media team to discuss annual media buying opportunities and cost-efficient approaches across campaigns.

Creative Asset Management & Localization

  • Manage launch timelines and execution of globally coordinated marketing asset debuts, including trailers, posters and other campaign materials.

  • Manage timelines and delivery schedules for Home Office creative assets, including Print and AV materials.

  • Prepare, localize and deliver advertising materials across Print and AV formats in partnership with creative agencies.

  • Gain Home Office approval for locally developed advertising materials and creative executions.

  • Communicate and coordinate Home Office feedback regarding locally developed advertising materials and creative executions.

Research & Consumer Insights

  • Coordinate local research initiatives in partnership with the Home Office, including focus groups, tracking studies and exit polls.

  • Prepare and localize materials required for research projects.

  • Participate in research sessions and support the analysis of key findings and consumer insights.

  • Communicate research updates and tracking results to relevant local stakeholders.

  • Utilize research findings to support marketing recommendations and campaign decision-making.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree, preferably in Marketing, Communications, Business, or a related field.

  • Minimum 6 years of professional experience in entertainment marketing and/or film publicity.

  • Strong understanding of and up-to-date knowledge of entertainment industry trends.

  • Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to build effective relationships with internal and external stakeholders, agencies, and regional or global teams.

  • A strategic thinker with a proactive and creative approach to problem solving, capable of managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.

  • Knowledge of The Walt Disney Company Studio and Disney+ content, with a strong passion for content and cinema.

  • Experience coordinating with regional or global teams and managing multiple stakeholders is preferred.

  • Native-level proficiency in Korean and proficiency in both written and spoken English.
