The Brand & Franchise Marketing team supports and collaborates with other businesses within TWDCK.  Their primary role is to increase brand and franchise awareness through various campaigns and promotions.

Off-line, this can involve pop-up stores, exhibitions, and various events that TWDCK participates in, on-line, the digital marketing team manages owned media channels such as Instagram and Facebook, working alongside other teams to communicate with our audience about promotions, trailers for upcoming content releases, all sort of news including talent interview for local content.

 

Key Responsibilities

  • Be an SME on all brands under Disney.
  • Work closely with global/APAC brand and franchise teams to map out brand and franchise priorities and develop integrated marketing campaigns to grow brand affinity in Korea.
  • Work closely with Integrated Marketing teams in Korea and other lines of businesses to develop best-in-class marketing and promotions across The Walt Disney Company businesses.
  • Work with the research and insights team to develop brand and franchise study. Present findings and strategize brand and franchise approach based on research.
  • Be a Brand custodian by upholding brand guidelines, integrity and restrictions to proactively and effectively communicate this guidance to all business stakeholders.
  • Liaise with brand teams in home office for guidance and approvals.
  • Lead in brand training for Korea office, and work with brand trainers in APAC region.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business Administration, or related field; MBA or advanced degree preferred.
  • 10+ years of experience in marketing roles, with a proven track record of driving strategic marketing initiatives and delivering measurable results in the entertainment, media, or consumer products industries.
  • Strong team management skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate cross-functional teams to achieve common goals in a dynamic and fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent communication in both Korean and English.
  • Interpersonal skills with the ability to articulate a compelling vision, build consensus, and influence key stakeholders at all levels of the organization.
  • Strategic thinker with a deep understanding of brand management, storytelling, and consumer engagement, combined with a passion for Disney's unique heritage and creative legacy.
  • Experience working in global markets and a strong understanding of equity and including is highly desirable.
