Job Summary

The Associate Manager, Global Content is responsible for the execution of TV, OOH and Print media buys including strategic media mix planning, localization and delivery of advertising materials for all globally theatrical & DTC content released by Disney Korea. The position will also be in charge of managing research as well as supporting in-theater marketing activities for any given title.

This position will report to the Global Content Marketing Manager, Integrated Marketing, Korea.

Key Responsibilities

  • Plan and execute media strategies for all TV, OOH & Print in cooperation with internal team and agencies.
  • Review and acquire media mix approval from internal stakeholders prior to execution.
  • Continuous review of media buy performance and adjust strategies in real-time to heighten effectiveness.
  • Prepare, localize and deliver all advertising materials from print to AV before given due date in cooperation with creative agencies.
  • Post buy analysis of each advertising campaign
  • Generate creative and stand-out marketing ideas for each title.
  • Devise annual media buy strategies with Local Content team for cost-saving executions.
  • Gain creative approval from home office for locally created advertising materials (i.e. locally edited 30” TV spot)
  • Work with home office to hold research locally including FGI, FGD, exit poll research.
  • Localize and prepare materials to be used in the research.
  • Participate in FGI groups and work with home office to analyze the research findings.
  • Communicate with home office regarding weekly tracking report and distribute to appropriate local teams.
  • Support in-theater marketing, including trailering, in-theater lobby displays, screening events, etc., by communicating with the sales team and the in-theater marketing representative.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor degree, preferably in marketing, communications or business management
  • At least 4 years’ experience in media mix planning or at least 4 years’ experience in entertainment marketing
  • Understanding and up to date with latest entertainment industry trends
  • A strong passion for content & cinema
  • Strong communication skills with both internal and external stakeholders
  • Collaborative and excellent team player. Ability to establish good working relationships with agencies
  • Able to multitask and work under a fast-paced environment
  • Strategic thinker and someone not afraid to think outside of the box
  • Knowledge of Disney+ and TWDC Studio content
  • Excellent English skills in both written and spoken
